Everything both you and I have to say about this topic is just opinion so it would have been best to just answer his question is reason instead of blowing up at him about what you think a game should be. Personally I've seen a LOT of brawl tourneys with simple changes like modded music and small stage changes still keeping a 'real competitive' edge.
